How healthy is your christian walk?

You can't make progress until you walk worthy of Him.  You need to move beyond the postion you are mnow currently.  A walk in  his steps. Acts1: 1

Practise the faith with your essential being. Many read the bible only when they are not tired

With the heart as unto the lord. Many do not examine theirse. We don't need to know that 

Christianity requires progress? 

As you have now received Christ therefore walk in Him

The truth about resting for the man who wants to know

Resting from scripture is something we are admonished to do when tired and also we are admonished to eat. 

So tell me the link between this two things in a nutshell. The reason we have energy to rest is because we have residual or remaining calories of food that has been turned to fat in our body.

 Some people who work real hard find themselves in the habit of going without food constantly. 

However, as interesting as this may sound or be.

 What does the bible have to say about it?

It is no fallout of a sinful man who is always keen on swallowing  food but because we have bodies and are living, we must always eat. 

Even our lord Jesus ate and performed a miracle of food for people to eat. If you think food is not a necessity let me tell you that Jesus had to command the little girl who died frkm scripture  to be given food after been raised from the dead.

 

 YOU think my theology is out of congruence with scripture, let these two instances serve for now.

TACKLING LIFE HARD

The most people give up at every point of duty and never give their best at the war front. The way to fight is to first be stable and then go out. I mean being stable in your faith means knowing whom you have been called to fight with. It is a battle of the mind first of all and should be addressed as so. 

You can't tell me you have not read your bible and yet you are stable. It is impossible to fight stable with the only information you have. It has to be more every time. Imagine there were things that do not keep you off-balance you might be said to be not fighting but standing about your heels and this is a real deal and a real issue. You might be so sure that we do not want to get out of our way to do things that are not easy. It requires that we move and do something more than just standing. Stand therefore with your stomach guarded with the truth

THE DRUNK OR DRINKING

The scripture(speaking of the New Testament) gives freedom and peace in this world and the hereafter.

We know that an idol is nothing in this world and that there is no God but one(Jesus the Christ). 

But some not having this knowledge take offence, as of having weak conscience taking it to mean taking things in offering in sacrifice to idols. 

We know an idol is nothing in this world, and there is no god but one; who is the father of our Lord and savior', Jesus Christ. 

Wine is a mocker and drink is deceitful; he that is caught thereby is not wise. 

 

Taking alcohol into the body and taking it as bouts of unnecessary food is also called debauchery and should be fled from at all cost; if at all necessary. 

If food is to be ingested, it is to be because of work or for energy purposes. 

 

Food must not be taken for leisure or sport . This is not founded by scripture and is not proper for the Christian.  

Wine in itself is not for sport at all, and should not be used for such. 

It is an exclusive preserve or very last resort energy source for the man that is fainting or almost dead.

It is said according to the book of proverbs: 

"Give to the dying man; wine (a paraphrase); it is not for the hail and hearty"(a paraphrase) perhaps.

Do not be deceived, fornication and excesses are all associated with drinking, and so flee every form of fornication. The man that is held thereby is not wise

wisewise. 

Never make wine your last resort. 

It will lead to further wrongs than you can cope with.

It is not debatable that you cannot BUT live a life filled with a lot of trouble if you are a heavy drinker.

Not to worry, if the nucleus of your life is now looking bleak, you have a choice to do what he wants or you get into trouble finding life yourself.

FIGHT-ing- HARDY or going with the FLOW

  The real consignor or parapet is the new creature; do not be caught in the web you have not been bound by. It is a real problem for the new age Christian to live; in a life full of the wiles of the enemy; to think to see for one self the reason behind one's wrong doings and this is also glorified in our wrong approach to things as we shall soon see.

 The motif behind all our rat-race Christianity will soon be obvious to all when they see our folly out in the glare of public eye. 

Christianity is a race that must be run with all forms of alacrity and savvy. The fact that mice and rat are similar words doesn't mean they are the same entity ( if I am correct in this sense or usage ). 

When we run as Christians we tend to see our race as a race that we will run with a lot of baggage with us as what we tend to carry. To fight hard you must at all cost travel light. The reason we give up most easily is because we have been used to a travel with heavy loads. 

 TRAVEL LIGHT Several of us travel while bearing the consciousness of the world in our view, and we want to still fight with this conscience and win. Is this at all possible? You will have to look it to be qualified to travel. 

 How prepared for war are you?

 In an age where you cannot see beyond your nose and everything is fighting to get your attention and you are not able to find your bearing what will you do? Are going with the flow or are you fighting hard? 

Are you fighting hard or going with the flow that will soon drown you?

If you fight real hardly you develop stamina and you are able to fight even better there is a prize to be won so you cannot afford to be lackadaisical or show unseriousness with your fight.

People are trying to control your course and you must not allow them; the more you give in to pressure the more the chance of your pitfall. 

Don't give in to pressure my friend. 

It is a battle of the mind and you need to be very alert and wary of untrue friends that appear friendly. 

Your minds' paintbrush is not going to tell you to give in to the caprices of the enemy and you know it. Never be too intimidated to stare the course of your life remember it's your life Get a grip of your life from the scripture and do not be inundated by what the enemy is saying; do not allow the wiles of the enemy take a toll on your christian efforts Christians are relaxing while the enemy is sowing seeds of unfortunate incidence on the hearts of the simple.
