1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
The will of God for christians in prayer is thanks, for He cannot hear the prayer of those who have not received the gift of eternal life. Christians are the only people with the entrance into the spiritual heavens because of the seed of God dwelling within us by His spirit.( James 4:5)
Philippians 1:3-11 ESV

The gift of God which is the sole essense of what God gave which we want to sometimes ask for in prayer has already been given in Jesus Christ
