The definition of grace as we shall see it is not of the old testament but of the New. The Good lord who instituted the authority of grace did it as far as the work ethics demanded it from him as He fragrantly took money from his followers and got a feed back of wisdom from his wealth of resources. The lord God had a way with money as he did with his work ethic.
He got money from the most awkward sources and did not bat an eyelid in His demands for money; for He knew how to get the resources he wanted without ever working for it. Don't prove you know God on the platter of Gold until you have been persecuted to the last point of your life.
The form of words that we may so see are basically the instructions we go by. It is so saddening a truth we may so see that we have been seen to mean that God's ways are not our ways at all.
Don't run with that idea until you have been made the off scouring of all things in your life as you only have two things to say which are Grace for grace.
The kind of grace we see in the world today is not of two things combined but of several. Really Abraham encountered something.
He encountered what we see today as an insight into the future. He was very versed in the principles of the God of his fathers which is time. I am not saying He knew how to calculate time without observation. His father was a diviner and so he knew what it meant to divine. But he knew there was more to time than a pointer as he knew there were errors in time. So he sought for the errors that would finally reveal who the author of time was.
For Him, it was all about timing's blindspot and he could bank on it for the rest of his life. He knew there was something beyond what His faher believed in. For him all the world believed in the elements of time and he knew it.
